Music Cafe is co-owned by Lefty and Tony. 

Lefty was born in beautiful island on Santorini in Greece. He moved to Austin 18 years ago and has lived in South Austin since then. Lefty has worked, managed and owned several coffeehouses in Greece and Austin and has extensive experience/knowledge of coffee. Tony calls him 'The Coffee guy'.

Tony was born in Austin and moved to Greece at the age of 5 with his parents. Once he finished high school he moved back to his original home, graduated from UT Austin and worked at Dell for 10 years before deciding to quit and open Music Cafe with Lefty. Tony loves wine, visits Napa Valley once a year to stay updated on latest wineries and trends which is why Lefty calls him 'The Wine guy'.

So there you have it, 'The Coffee guy' and 'The Wine guy' got together and created Music Cafe a one of a kind coffeehouse/wine bar in South Austin. Hope you join us for a cup of coffee or bottle of wine!
 

Music Cafe opened its doors in April 2009. Our goal is to offer South Lamar a friendly, relaxing neighborhood coffeehouse where everyone can enjoy a cup of Segafredo espresso coffee, cold beer, glass or bottle of wine all at a reasonable price.
Our 400+ year old tree gives our patio a one of a kind sitting area on South Lamar and we invite you to enjoy it with your friends, family and pets. (yes we are pet friendly!)
